IATSE Local 540 was chartered in 1919. Serving the Baton Rouge Community for all Behind the Scenes Entertainment stagehands and technicians.

Local 540 has a long history of providing crew and skills to arts organizations such as Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Opera Louisiane, LSU Opera, and many more.

Venues we service are Raising Cane’s Rivercenter, Manship Theatre, Shaver Theatre, Reilly Theatre, Independence Park Theatre and many more dedicated and temporary performance spaces.
